Lighting Audits
IWM provides room-by-room lighting audits to evaluate a building’s current lighting system and to identify methods to reduce overall costs. As recorded by the U.S. Department of Energy, the largest component of a commercial building’s electricity bill is lighting. IWM works with its clients to reduce such costs. Audits analyze the fixture count of every lighting fixture in a room, the type of fixtures used, high-intensity discharge, room measurements and financial concerns. The work not only provides the client with new ideas on how to improve lighting, but it also provides the client with critical information about the building.
In performing the audit, IWM thoroughly documents all gathered data. The information is saved in order to provide a valuable resource for future lighting projects.
