IWM has performed several feasibility studies to determine the effectiveness of certain recycling transfer stations. When performing such a study, IWM examines an area and decides if its facility could act as a proper recycling transfer system. A recycling transfer station handles, transports and traces all materials dropped off at its location. A feasibility study measures the system’s performance capability. The assessment follows IWM code, as it ensures the facility’s obedience of system regulations and requirements.
